01 - CONTEXT
From July to November of 2022, I acted as a Jr. Visual Designer for Apple. From there, I collaborated with multiple teams across Apple to create a visual layout on Apple’s internal platform used by the Retail Team in stores worldwide. We created glyphs, worked with coders, writers and the marketing team weekly. I also created case studies and presentation decks as well.
My Role in the Project: Teamwork, Collaboration, and Presentation Decks
In the recent project I worked on, my role primarily revolved around fostering teamwork, collaboration, and creating presentation decks. Being part of a team allowed me to contribute my skills and experience while also learning from others. The success of any project depends on effective teamwork, and it was a fulfilling experience to be entrusted with this crucial role. Throughout the project, the process of creating something went beyond just striving for eye-catching visuals; it encompassed simplicity and accessibility for all users. Here's how I approached this aspect:
As a team member, my aim was to ensure effective communication and collaboration amongst team members. I actively participated in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and discussions, where we collectively formulated strategies, defined goals, and identified tasks. I fostered an inclusive environment where everyone's ideas and opinions were valued, and we worked towards a common vision.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
One of my primary responsibilities was the creation of presentation decks. I played a vital role in visually presenting our ideas, concepts, and progress to stakeholders, clients, and management. Presenting our work in a timely manner was essential in conveying our ideas effectively, so I revised and refined the decks until they were polished and aligned with our project objectives.
Presentation Decks:
To create an eye-catching design that remained simple yet accessible, I continuously sought to learn and incorporate new design techniques and trends. I researched and analyzed successful design approaches, studied user feedback, and stayed updated with industry best practices. By being open to learning and adapting, I was able to refine my design skills and deliver impactful solutions.
